Leaving a Legacy
Legacy Home Inspections understands that a home is one of the single most costly investments that a family will make, and we take joy in looking out for our clients’ best interest.
Legacy Home Inspection arrives early to each inspection, ready to gain your trust and respect on your home’s condition. We are patient and sit down with you to review your report, and answer ANY questions that you have. We will also answer any questions that you may have at a later date by email or phone.
We will inspect the darkest and dirtiest parts of your home? We will walk on the roof, crawl in the crawlspace, and climb into the attic space?
You are encouraged to attend your inspection appointment, ask questions and be involved in the process. You will reduce your risk by attending your inspection!
Your inspection report will be delivered to you by email the following morning in a clean, easy to use format. Click HERE for a sample of our report format. The report has many photos and illustrations that will help you identify areas of concern.
After we complete your inspection, we will sit down with you and talk about the findings that will ensure that you are making the right decision. The Report Summary will include 3 categories: No Repairs Needed, Repairs Needed Soon, Repairs Needed Immediately. The ‘Soon’ category implies that there is wear and tear, and that there is no danger or safety issues attached to the rating. An example of the ‘Soon’ category would be ‘tabs on roofing are curling and repair is needed on South slope around chimney’. As we move into the ‘Immediately’ category, this same roof example may ‘require new layering of shingles due to missing tabs, missing roof vents, and leaking in attic and in upstairs bedrooms’. As you notice, the need to protect your homes structure has levels of importance.
Before we leave, you will feel more successful and educated about the systems of your house. I will never inspect and disappear. You can count on follow up emails, calls or text to ensure you are comfortable, and are fully informed about the condition of your future home. You are always welcome to call for questions, forever.
You can be assured that you will be informed of your inspection process from original scheduling, home inspection, report, and follow up.
I take pride to ensure that we are on time, with your inspection appointment, communication to you, follow up, and reports to you.
